Art historians are still trying to unravel the secrets of the Tabriz painters who produced such sharpness of expression of feelings and such intensity of emotion in their paintings that no subsequent master could emulate it. It was as if they were destined to compose the “Shahnameh”, a masterpiece in the history of Tabriz miniature painting, as they achieved a culmination of all the achievements of previous years.
